Garfield

Garfield Hess was born in the town of Waterdeep to a respectable merchant family. Neither his father or mother had a strong religious devotion. Garfield, however, heard the call of his deity Heironeous at an early age and dreamed of living the life of a Paladin for many years. In Waterdeep, he assisted a high-level Paladin who told him of the inequities and danger of the Daggerford region. After years of devotion and training, Garfield decided to venture South to Daggerford to confront the gathering evil in the city and cleanse the southern approach to his beloved Waterdeep.

Recently arrived in Daggerford, Garfield has been assisting Sherlen at the barracks. Although he is the lone Paladin of the Keep, he gets along well with the soldiers and has been assisting them in their patrols. Garfield looks forward to the day he can bring righteousness and a real code of law to the city of Daggerford.
